Well, right now I'm searching for solutions to the colour editing problem. I think I found the solution but just to be sure, this post would serve as a testing post. Haha just to see if the colours work now after I've changed some settings.

Go to Settings. Then scroll down below. Choose the updated Editor. Don't use the old one :)
